The approval inbox

Review, edit, approve or reject agent actions — with SLAs so nothing rots.

Updated Aug 2, 2026

When an agent at the Approve level reaches an action that needs a human — sending an external email, changing a financial record — the run pauses and lands in the approval inbox.

What you see

Each pending item shows:

  • The exact action about to be taken (e.g. the full drafted email)
  • The run trace so far — every step, input and output that led here
  • Cost and confidence context

Your options

  • Approve — the run continues immediately.
  • Edit & approve — adjust the payload (fix a sentence, change a field) and continue; your edit is stored alongside the original.
  • Reject — the run stops, with a reason the agent's log keeps forever.

SLAs and escalation

Approvals have a configurable service level (default 4 business hours). Items approaching breach get highlighted and re-notified; on breach, the fallback you configure applies — escalate to another approver or auto-reject. Nothing silently expires into action: no response ever means no.

Delegation

Going on leave? Delegate your approvals to a teammate for a date range in Settings — every delegated decision is attributed to both of you in the audit log.
